Public Meeting at Llanspyddid 19th August 2025
This meeting was arranged by Cllr Raiff Devlin in response to continued concerns from the community of Libanus regarding
- Reduction of the 50mph through Llanspyddid on the A40
- enforcement of the current speed limit
- Pedestrian crossing to the bus stop
- Active travel path to Brecon
The meeting was attended by
- Raiff Devlin (Powys County Council),
- Jane Dodds (MS – Senedd Wales)
- Pauline Hill (Glyn Tarell Community Council)
- Casey Dunn (Welsh Government Development Control Manager, Mid and North Wales)
- John Forsey (Head of Highways, PCC)
- Dean Williams (Mid and North Wales Manager Transport and Road Agency)
- Jackie Charlton (Cabinet member, PCC)
- and 40 residents of Llanspyddid

- safe crossing to the bus stops

- Andrew Jones (AJ) (Head of Operations, North & Mid Wales Trunk Road Agency)
- Gareth Day (GD)(Head of Operations, Welsh Government)
- And over 30 residents of Libanus and surrounding area.
